My tiny collection

RE: My tiny collection
Shifted my garage today today a slighly larger place that gives more options to set it up differently. Still a lot of work required to make it look half decent but I think by the end of this year, I will get there. Few more pics. Have decided to put stuff like racks, power points, pictures, clocks etc on the walls. My blessed color printer has conked off or else I should have finished it some time sooner.

RE: My tiny collection
I envy your garage Diablo - it takes a lot of time to collect stuffs and build one of that sort. And since you are saying it looks half decent (which I do not think so),I wonder how it will be when it is fully completed!!!

RE: My tiny collection
I don't think I would like to ever say its completed. It should always have something filling it up. New tools, new stuff. Lets see. Lots of ideas swimming in the head. But to translate it to the fingers takes decades.

RE: My tiny collection
Thanks Vasanth and Haroon. Vasanth, the red bike is a Ertl OCC FireBike chopper. You must have seen the making on Discovery channel. Its part of Ebay deal that really went wrong but thats another story for another time. Its in for repairs. Wink Haroon, I want to make tools like spanners, pliers and screwdriver for the mechanics. Working on it in my mind as I type. I tried printing them but it does not have the desired effect. So will have to make them out of soft wire and maybe paper. Will keep you guys posted.

The 3 Matchbox cars that I brought after ages. I think I will go out again this weekend and add some more to the mix. Will leave the honor of tearing apart the packaging for my son.

RE: My tiny collection
Hey Winston, nice you picked up these. Matchbox makes real cuties in this scale....I remember I picked some up earlier this year when I was short of cash and didn't want to spend too much on diecasts..... these little ones really gave me some joy!!!

I even posted a thread on my 1:64 collection, check it out here - http://www.scalemodelcarz.com/enter/show...hp?tid=140

My favorite post on SMC "I wait for the day when you go ballistic while buying models after you get your first job. I think I would be seeing KV & the Modelart guys bursting fire crackers all day." (quote Winston)

RE: My tiny collection
You right right about the joy part Karan. Hobby should be fun. The rising prices have started giving me hair loss and there is no fun in that. Big Grin
