RE: My 1:18 collezione!!!
Karan, that is a beautiful collection of vintage cars. All of them compliment one and another and are representative of the finest the companies ever made in that era of motoring. I would love to own the Duesey and the Jag some day.

RE: My 1:18 collezione!!!
Thanks Winston....the vintage theme is coming up nicely now, next have to add a vintage Packard and a Cadillac. The Jag is really tiny compared to the other three behemoths, yet the overall styling is remarkably similar even though it was launched about 20 years after such cars as the Pierce Arrow and the Merc were released.

PS - A good Good Friday to you, must have been busy whole day today, I noticed a large assembly of cars parked outside the Church near my home for a major part of the day today.

RE: My 1:18 collezione!!!
Thanks again Sid. All these are an inspiration from Sri aka Modeller's collection. He's got one of THE best vintage collections on SMC and he also collects 1:1 vintages.

RE: My 1:18 collezione!!!
Here's some pics of the 1957 Mercedes-Benz 300SL Touring. It's a 1:18 assembly kit from Burago, my very first in this scale. Had got this almost a year back. Posting pics now as I got around to doing the final stickers on the wheels and dash just a few days back. Really love the red interiors amidst the silver bodywork. However, Burago's assembly kits are really not something to talk about, really sloppy instruction sheet.

RE: My 1:18 collezione!!!
Karan, nice car and I agree about the stupid instruction set. Half of it is guess work. You should also get rid of the whitewalls. Not in character with the car.

RE: My 1:18 collezione!!!
Karan nice touring SL car, and nice to see those 4 vintage beauties.
Are those signature models (except 500K) i like the silver Arrow, these vintage beauties remind me of the game Mafia, which i used to play and enjoy. Nice game it is and you can see many classics in that.
