I am Aritrim and I am from Kolkata. Its been two years or so I am in this hobby. I used to collect Hot Wheels 1:64s when I was in school. My first model was a 1953 Studebaker Starliner by Maisto in brick red color which I happened to buy casually one day to start it all!

I am a software developer by profession.

Hi folks !
I am Srivardhan aka 'modeller' from Chennai.
I am a regional Cargo Sales Manager for an Airline.
An avid automobile enthusiast and a collector of
Vintage Cars & bikes apart from being a serious
scale model buff. I predominantly collect Vintage and
Classic vehicles in all scales and also military vehicles
besides a small collection of WW1 & 2 Aircraft.
I have models of many makes viz, Motormint,Danbury Mint,
Anson.Newray,Minichamps,Dinky, Maisto, Bburago, autoart,
Road Legends, Signature etc and military models of
Forces of Valour , italeri and Hongwell.
Its nice to touch base with a fraternity of Scale modellers
and I am happy to be in this forum.

Sri, you will have to click on USER CP and on that page, you will have an option saying 'Change avatar'. Just upload a picture you would like to use for your avatar. The picture file size should be within 10 kb and dimensions should be 100 pixels x 100 pixels max.

hello everyone, i am Amit from Kolkata. i am a Business student and love collecting model cars. i have around 200 models of various shapes and sizes. while collecting models i look mainly for 1:42/1:35 because a good detailing in these cars is to look for.
i don't like vintage cars. my interests are classics(american), suvs/pickups, muscle cars, hotrods and late 80's to early 90's american sedans.

Hi...I am Winston from Bombay and I am a diecastoholic with no sign of getting cured. Happily married for the last 3 years. Please note the word 'happily' because my wife tolerates me being crazy for model cars.
Been collecting for the last 10 years and its been a great ride. I like cars and bikes of all sorts, specially rally and race. Also have a couple of books on cars that help me decide if I really need that model. (Most of the times the answer is 'Yes! I do!') I started off with 1:18 but have veered towards 1:43 because of the large variety of models available.
Made a lot of great friends through this hobby and I hope with SMC, that circle of friends will only increase. Keep collecting!
