RE: My Die Cast Collection
^^ Awesome pics there brother!! I think you have revealed your collection for the first time here. Is this your entire 1:18 collection?? Love the E320 man and I am so glad you got it in the bornite colour, did you get it from Singapore?? And also the blue BMW Z3 roadster, that's one been a long time on my wishlist now, is it the Burago version?

My favorite post on SMC "I wait for the day when you go ballistic while buying models after you get your first job. I think I would be seeing KV & the Modelart guys bursting fire crackers all day." (quote Winston)

RE: My Die Cast Collection
I was thinking of postponing my imports of the Bornit E320 and the Inka Touring to next year, but thanks to your pics, I've changed my mind.
One helluva collection, and enviable photography skills. Oh, and what brand is the JEep? The Autoart one is frikkin rare.
@Karan: ModelART I guess.

:O

RE: My Die Cast Collection
Brilliant pics Sri and a very nice collection. Love the last set of pics with all the cars together.

If you can't dazzle them with brillance, baffle them with bullshit.

RE: My Die Cast Collection
Thank you all. The delay in uploading pics of my collection was basically due to unavailability of a descent camera and a photographer. I have normal digital cameras and didn't want to ruin the thing by capturing pics on them. The entire credit of photography goes to my friend Soumyadip, who bought a Nikon D5000 a day or two back.

@ Karan : Yes the Z3 is the Bburago version and was my 2nd 1:18 buy about a decade back. Nope I got the E320 from Modelart, Delhi. This is more or less my entire 1:18 collection. I've many more Maistos of other scales but these days don't buy anything other than 1:18's

@ Asaran & Arkin : The Jeep is from Maisto. Would had it been an Autoart I would have placed it right in front, Big Grin but nevertheless its one fo the better makes of Maisto. If you don't mind collecting the better ones from them, you can surely go ahead and buy one. I shall upload more detailed pics of the Jeep soon...have to get hold my my friend again.

And for evryones information, the red BMW 2000 touring is brilliant piece of art. It has the best of details starting from the engine compartment to the interiors. If you carefully notice the second last pic of the Beamer you would find the Engine and Chassis nos. and the details of the model mentioned. IMO the classic models have a lot more detailing scopes when it comes to the Engine bay.
