UtkArsh'S 1:18 Maisto Carrera GT

Hello Friends,writing my 1st thread nd presenting my new Maisto 1:18 Porsche Carrera GT.This is a Premiere Edition Maisto beautifully crafted nd made,this piece is infact one of d best pieces from Maisto.Nice work done by Maisto.
Though u cannot compare it with other brands like Autoart,still d feel nd looks of d model are sure to b appreciated.

Paint job is excellent but its nt glistering as u would find on other models like Challenger or SLR McLaren.Paint feels good nd ther are no rough edges.Personally if i wanna buy a Porshe it'll be definately Red.

The car feels realistic nd gives a solid feeling while holding.No gaps between d parts however little problem wid d doors which is common in all Maisto models.

Lights gives realistic feel(specially d back lights),rear tyres are broad nd its grips looks good,d alloys seems quite real nd u can easily see d Porshe print on d braking pad behind d alloys.

The engine is nt as such detailed nd bundled up wid some plastic parts but 'u cannot dream f d world having a penny in your pocket'.
Overall , this is a great piece to own nd it has lived up to almost all my expectaions.For Rs 1600/- it is a must to own Porshe by all Porshe fans.Overall Rating- 8/10 .

That's a nice review of the Carrera GT, I just love it in red though I myself have it in the silver version. I think I should get the red one too though, both colours are just irresistible. I find an uncanny resemblance between your review writing style and mine

Thats a lovely model by Maisto- one of their best.

Just the wheels and the brake details are worth the money spent! Logic being: on an autoart when you pay maisto money - you just get the wheel n brake detail! You need to pay more for the rest of the car!
Whereas with the maisto (for the same money) you get the wheel n brake detail + the rest of the model (free of cost in comparison to the Autoart!)

Been thinking of gettin one for my collection and after seeing your pics, I want her pretty bad now.

Karan- the red and silver together will look brilliant. Get her too
