A 1998 Ford Taurus Nascar driven by Jimmy Spencer. I don't know nothing about the car or the driver. The narcissist in me was searching for 'Winston' in diecast models on GEB and I happened to chance upon a few of these. Not wanting to let go something with my name on it, I got this one after consulting Guggga who liked the red car more than the gold one. Thanks Guggga. All you guys are also welcome to get me the gold car. Big Grin

The model is made by Revell and it truly knocked me off my feet. It was more than I expected. The details are all there in the cockpit but since Nascar cars have no doors (the driver gets in through the window), it is a pain in the backside to get pics of the interiors. The stickering and lights on the car are all superbly crisp tampo prints. The car is huge. Almost as huge as my Mercedes Benz S class car. I am also a big fan of Nascar Racing on the PC and very happy to finally get my first (and probably not the last) 1:18 Nascar. What a brilliant start I say. Well done Winston Big Grin

A 750 HP+ 5.7L engine that can propel this behemoth to 200kmph on some big oval tracks.

Hey thanks guys. My darling chachi (RIP) suggested my name to my parents who ofcourse loved it. Loved my chachi a lot and if she was here today would have definitely thanked her for my name.
Forgot to mention that the animated movie Cars is one of my all time favorite movies.

Well did you mention the animated movie CARS??? We have several of their characters with us- Dinoco car and chopper, Doc Hudson, the Sheriff, the good old Mater and few others........

I so love the Cars cars. I need to get them all beginning with Lightening Mcqueen and Mater. I also need Sarge and Doc and the Sheriff and the Fiat and his buddy and Stanley and .....you get the drift! Man! like always, I was stupid not to get the truck when it was available readily.
