Ford GT Concept, 1:18 Beanstalk
Happy birthday to me. Thanks you. Thanks you. Gugggaji planted a keeda in my head a few days before my birthday and that keeda wouldn't come out till I got it. So finally after a long search and so as not to kill Pratham with the suspense, I present to you my birthday gift. 1:64 model by Hotwheels. Gulf livery, classic, no?. Couldn't be happier. Not much engine detail but eyesight is not what it used to be. So I can excuse that. Nice wheels. I hope you guys like it.

Tongue Pratham. Since you insist and since Guggga has spoken, I will reveal the real McCoy.
Like I said in my first post, the keeda was planted in my head by Guggga and ever since he said Ford GT (FGT), I have been looking for one on GEB. A 15% discount only further helped me to seal the deal on the one and only FGT on GEB. I was really not keen on this color combo (it is more chrome yellow than the lemon yellow like it appears in the pics). But where we are, beggars cannot be choosers and so yellow and black it shall be.
Anyways, this is the model I have got in a long, long, long time with absolutey zero buyers remorse. The Beanstalk is the modern day UT. Sadly like UT, it ended prematurely. Like the box says, this model has been made under the supervision of Ford Design and it shows. Accurate looking body, the most beautiful paint job with precise tampo printing of the go faster race stripes, those beautiful Good Year tires and equally gorgeous chromed centre caps, superb lights, drop dead interiors....man everything is superlative on this model. Many say the engine is over chromed. I say BALLS! It is superbly rendered with aluminum accents, chromed exhaust,...everything looks like it is supposed to be. To repeat myself, this is the best model I have gotten in a long time. If you can find one, grab it with both hands and if possible ur feet and hold on tight. Enjoy the pics.

Winston, this car is looking beautiful in yellow. Spell out its price and brand too. Also some of your reviews for it.

RE: My happy birthday gift
Thanks you fellas. Channa, this is a Beanstalk 1:18 model and it cost me 3199 rs to be precise through GEB. I ordered it on the 12th and it reached me late evening today. Only 7 days from the US. Surprisingly quick and like Guggga would say, they used Carmen Electra's personal jet to deliver it to me.
Pratham, you are right. It is everything you said. It is a near perfect diecast. It originally cost 32 USD. My pictures don't do enough justice to the finer details on the model. My Kyosho Mercedes E320 looks like bullshit compared to this model.

RE: My happy birthday gift
Hey come on man, that's not a GT car, that's out and out a pure thoroughbred exotic man!! BTW Winston, why are you so hellbent on making me jealous?? Big Grin Congrats man, this is one heck of a ride, it sits in my wishlist right up there with the Countach....in other words, one of the holiest of Holy Grails for me!!! You are right about the colour though, Beanstalk fucked that up bigtime, Autoart got the colour spot on, I want mine in yellow with black stripes and the Autoart one of course. Nothing less than the best for this baby!!! Modelart used to have it in stock back when Autoart's were only 3500 apiece. Wish I had got into the hobby back then AND had the moolah to get one. I still say get the Autoart version, u will be even more amazed with the engine detailing in that one. Plus the stance is just exquisite!!!

Edit - Hard to believe you hadn't got this till now and ur collection is at 200+ stage. How did this happen??

My favorite post on SMC "I wait for the day when you go ballistic while buying models after you get your first job. I think I would be seeing KV & the Modelart guys bursting fire crackers all day." (quote Winston)
