Big Grin Tata Nano 1:18 from Norev
I picked this 1:18 Tata Nano from Prerana Motors. It cost me Rs 1500, which at 1st seemed rather exorbitant, until I opened the box. This is my 1st Norev. Detailing is stunningly brilliant, and even the seats are soft feel, and can be pushed back with ease. The build quality and finishing came make even my 1:1 Tata Indigo Blush sheepishly. There are no color options, and the model is available only in one combo.

Arkin, you should not at all be pissed with the price, 1500 for a 1:18 Norev is one of the cheapest you can get. The model finishing is truly superb. I'm not particularly a fan of the Nano (it is no doubt a landmark car in terms of its pricing) but when it comes to aesthetics, it's not too attractive. But an iconic car nonetheless to have in ones collection.

My favorite post on SMC "I wait for the day when you go ballistic while buying models after you get your first job. I think I would be seeing KV & the Modelart guys bursting fire crackers all day." (quote Winston)

I ain't pissed with the price. I feel it is VFM. What I said was " It cost me Rs 1500, which at 1st seemed rather exorbitant, until I opened the box."
After I opened the box, I saw the quality and felt it was rather VFM. One must see it in real, it looks more attractive than my 300 SLR.

Arkin, I would say that is one superb model to have. You see, if I get an authentic 1:18 that resembles a purely Indian Car, I keep it ahead of my Maybachs and Mercs. Keep this gem piece with absolute care.

I wish Norev made an authentic 1:18 ambassador or an 1:18 Maruti Esteem or Gypsy!!!

^^ I wish Norev made the Contessa in 1:18, that's one heck of a car man, I just love its hugeness and royal presence.

Well done, Arkin. I'm pretty sure (or atleast I hope) there are more colours available at Concorde Motors. I'll have to go check it out sometime.

Even I feel the same.
According to me, the best 1:18 model Norev can make is that of the SS80.
