Exclamation How does one fix chipped-away /scratched paint work?
Paint of a handful of my models, mainly red and white parts/surfaces of my die-cast scale models has got chipped off and scratched at many places. I would like to know how I can touch up these, and the kind of paint I can use.

Arkin, now thats a toughie. You might touch it up with some acrylic paint (for eg fevicryl) but it will not look the same from real close. From 4 feet away, no one but you will know the difference. I say this because I have done this kind of thing when I was a teen like you with a budget that could get me a HW car once every 2-3 months. I suggest acyrlic paint because it is cheaper to buy than spray paint or auto paints. Also it is easier to wipe away and repaint if you happen to do some gadbad.

When you have to shoot, shoot. Don't talk.

Thanks Winston. I shall try a bit on one of my models, and decide of I can go ahead with it.

off course you will get it. the smallest ap costs around Rs.18, quantity is pretty small.

among the two, both are very good.

Thank you. Can the same be used for touching up / restoration of this beauty?
Note: It may not look to bad in this pic, thanks to flash.
