Hotwheels ferraris
hey guys.
Today at shoppers stop i saw a few hotwheels ferraris but they were 1:43s. Now, has hotwheels again started to supply diecasts to India ??
If yes when one could expect 1:18s from them and i even asked the guy at SS but he had no idea on when will 1:18s arrive or whether it will arrive or not !!!
What do you guys think ??
Is Hotwhels trying to once again establish itself as a diecast manufacturer in India ??

Need your comments on that !

the 1:43 models are available here from a looong time, highly overpriced though. also the 1:18 models, specially the dino, F1 racing cars, 550 etc (in very small volumes) are available in the market. so HW is not new but not as popular as the others.

RE: Hotwheels ferraris
@karan : comments on their availability, price, quality, etc.
@amit : they were for 499/-. I don't think they are very much expensive but since their quality is better than budget models, it is to some extent justified

1:43 are already there since long time..

day before yesterday i found 1:18 hw corvette c06 and one mclaren f1 in same scale.. but i guess those were old stock..

i doubt if they'll launch 1/18 but i would certainly want them to .
HW ferraris are not bad at all..

^^ Abacus.....you just wrote something there that made me fall off my chair, where exactly did you come across the HW McLaren F1??? I have seen the Corvette in white colour with chrome rims. Please please tell me that Mclaren is still in stock. Looking forward to your reply.

RE: Hotwheels ferraris
I too agree with most of you guys. Hotwheels is there in here or a longer time but never made any point like the other diecast manufacturers. The new 1:43 Ferrari's, AFAIK there are only 6 models. Detailing is quiet good, and so is the packing. This was the reason i brought the Enzo, specially i liked its engine detail in that small scale.

1:18 i had seen in the Model Art at the Forum Mall last year, they had only model of Ferrari 612 (I personally don't like that car for its looks mainly). I felt for that price, which is slightly more (say 150-300) than the MAISTO and not that much features or details on the car. This made me promptly get my DODGE HEMI. I would definitely put my hands in buying the Ferrari F1's if Hotwheels are getting them here even if it is 1:43 with good detailing and priced in the same range as of the current 1:43's.

^^ Hahaha, no problems Abacus, that's what I was wondering how could an Mclaren F1 road car be just lying around like that, it would have been picked up the very first time!!!
