I agree with you ..espl shipping to India ...something i prefer to ship to Canada my second home i cost and latter bring them .

Bidding is better some times we get lucky to get price which equalilize the shipping cost .

As you already know I got my GT from http://www.caagis.com which is UK based and they charge 24 pounds as shipping. http://www.modelcarworld.de/relaunch/mai...nguage=uk, brings in new models as they hit European market, http://www.grandprixlegends.com charges only 20 pounds as shipping and lot of up comming models there and finally a korean site http://www.jigamaree.com who also charges $21 as shipping(ems) and autoart models starting at $59 here.

I personally have experience with Caagis and Jigamaree. modelcarworld nope as they dont have none of my hitlist car. I have preordered Mclaren and sls with grandprixlegent yet to get a confirmation.

Individual sellers do offer good shipping rate, the shipping cost ultimately decides or compromise between the car cost if its lower than expected and shipping. New models cost a lot but at the same time if you wait for the prices to fall they will disappear from auction this is a very normal case with racing car/bike models if you miss the chance then finding them again latter is slim or you have to pay lot more than when they were first available. Autoart models becoming more expensive at this rate they are inching closer towards Exoto or CMC, so less models to buy

I went through Modelcarworld and they haven't mentioned any shipping rates for India, I'm guessing that they don't ship to India then.

I just checked it, they do ship it to india but the price is 40€. You have to select other countries after adding it to the cart... Shipping is expensive but the they have some Autoart models like Chevrolet Corvette Convertible (C6) at 28.57 € etc which works out cheap. Good thing about this site is you name the brand they have it. They are basically in Germany.

They even have the Maisto SLS in red at 34.95 €
