Want: Ferrari F40

Want: Ferrari F40
Guys, I found a hot red HW Ferrari F40 model on 20north website for a total of 3850 bucks. What do you guys say, is it worth it?? Should I get it?? Really anxious on adding a Ferrari to my 1:18 collection. This is the cheapest option I found I think.

My favorite post on SMC "I wait for the day when you go ballistic while buying models after you get your first job. I think I would be seeing KV & the Modelart guys bursting fire crackers all day." (quote Winston)

I think you should go for it karan coz it is a very rare chance that you may find one in india, so the only option is to order online from abroad. If 3850 includes everything you should go for it IMHO.

RE: Want: Ferrari F40
That's almost 2.5 times the retail price Karan.
Personally I don't think it's worth that amount.
But then it depends on you

And make sure it's not the 60th anniversary version, as these are
ones that are selling cheap.

I think if you want standard or light wieght version of the F 40 opt for the Kyosho version, Racing GT version then HW , I am also looking to get hold of the F40

RE: Want: Ferrari F40
HW F40 for that kinda money is too steep in my opinion.

Save a bit more and get hold of the street or the light weight version by Kyosho Jelly (Kyosho). They are the best Smile

RE: Want: Ferrari F40
Karan, unless you have found a good deal for an Elite HW, just ignore them. The Elite HWs themselves are too much money for little model and 3850 rs for a non elite HW is just highway robbery. Avoid at all costs. You are better off not having the Ferrari than having it and repenting for having overspent.

When you have to shoot, shoot. Don't talk.
