groundforce's models
The moment I stepped into that Franklin Mint store, I knew I had to have it. This limited edition 1911 Rolls Royce was made with a high level of detail, had gold electroplated bits, a fabric roof, real wood veneer on the running boards, soft-feel seats, burgundy fabric carpets, and an outstanding paint job.

Rolls Royce! Can there be a better way to start a posting your models?? WTG Karan. Keep them coming. Gorgeous model. Love the spoked wheels, pin striping and the intricate details on this one.

If you can't dazzle them with brillance, baffle them with bullshit.

RE: groundforce's models
Man, this must be a real rare model. It must have cost a small fortune I'm sure and now I think it will fetch far more for that if another collector wanted to get hands on your piece.

My favorite post on SMC "I wait for the day when you go ballistic while buying models after you get your first job. I think I would be seeing KV & the Modelart guys bursting fire crackers all day." (quote Winston)

RE: groundforce's models
Is it 1:24 or 1:18? Looks really outstanding. I guess it will be priced well over $200 now!

RE: groundforce's models
@ Bandhav: I'm not that big a fan of the super-old either, but this one caught my attention.

@ karansharma: not too sure if this one's rare or not, only because I see similar pieces for sale on the web.

@ channabasanna: Thanks man, it's a 1:24

@ amitV8: I'm not a bling afficianado myself! Big Grin

@ aritrim: thank you. Smile
