RE: groundforce's models
Whoa!!Great way to get things started again.Love the colour of the HotWheels Elite version. The 250 GTO is easily one of the most beautiful cars in history.Congratulations on having two delicious examples of it in your collection!!
By the way,is the HotWheels Elite model bigger than the Kyosho??Or does that have something to do with the camera angle? Inside every man is a little kid who wants to play. |

The noticeable difference in that some of them had two vent slats in the front fender and some had three could be a difference in model year? The 250 GTO was manufactured between '62 and '64 as per my knowledge. Can someone in the know please shed light on this? Thanks, Sid, it's the camera angle. ![]() The GTO is a much more graceful interpretation of the basic coupe shape... ![]() Here's where you can find more photos of the twin GTOs... http://www.scalemodelcarz.com/enter/thread-1295.html |

Lovely model Karan!!! Though I don't understand Ferrari much, I love the composition of this photo. That's the Bandra-Worli Sea Link in the background I suppose.

The blue-black colour looks truly luscious!! I'm confused over the Kyosho version though. Have they made 2 renditions of the 250 GTO, one with open flaps on the hood as seen above and the other with closed ones?? Also I have seen 2 different Kyosho GTO's on the net, one with two slats on its side while the other had 3 slats, what's that about, any idea?
