RE: groundforce's models
^^ lol, thanks. Smile

I like buses too (got about 5 so far). This Scania Wright Solar (of Reading transport in the UK) is among my more recent purchases. It's got nicely detailed wheels, good proportion, and a nice livery.

Brand: Original Omnibus
Scale: 1:76

Appreciate it, pratham. I know Gift Centre is Bombay sells some buses including a 1:24 Sunstar double-decker (which costs about Rs.12,000), but not nearly enough as some of us would like.

RE: groundforce's models
Gift Centre does have some buses but no takers. Seen them lying in the store for almost 3-4 years now. The prices of the models is what makes the whole deal unattractive. Not to mention that the buses are those which a majority of the people have no idea about. A Volvo B7 or a Mercedes Benz Neoplan model could change all that.

If you can't dazzle them with brillance, baffle them with bullshit.

True, I asked about the buses the last time I was there (about a month or so ago), with the full intention of buying atleast one, but the elderly gentleman behind the counter said that they were in a 'godown'. I guess they finally moved the non-selling items out of that tiny space.
Anyway, I bought the Scania from a hole-in-the-wall in Shanghai.

Off topic, rumour has it that there is a Minichamps store coming soon. Any idea about this, Winston?
