Nice Porsche there. Nice color for the cabriolet. The Z4 looks cute and the Merc looks elegant. The Beemer looks cool in silver, especially that 330i.

Thanks Channa

Also, would I be right in saying you are a sedan and coupes fan as I see you getting mostly BMW and Merc sedans. What's the point of getting different versions of BMW like the 3 and the 5 series? To me, all modern day BMW sedans look the same. The only BMW's that are a tad different are the Z3 and the Z4 coupes. Forgive me for asking this but I am totally an exotic fan so find it difficult to understand people splurging on similar-looking sedans by the same manufacturer. In my opinion, BMW enjoys a strong brand identity and invokes strong feelings of luxury and power in people and that is why even different series models are sold in good numbers. Otherwise, when it comes to purely automotive aesthetics and design, BMW doesn't have much to offer. I mean, the aesthetics and the external design are the primary motivators for me when it comes to choosing cars for adding to my collection. Historical significance, till now, hasn't played much role.

Thanks Karan.

Actually i have little bit narrow apporach as far my collection i prefer road races than the rally cars with stickers.

Germans are my fav on road and collection.I do like to add like generation to a particular model ...spl like E class i have 4 generation and same with others .

Sports cars go i have 7 for Lambo and 10 ferrari and porsche range i ordere 5 new models soon may be delivered

5 series is my fav i have 4 colors of same.So i actually dont have fav for sedans but for street cars yes.

How many models do you get at each go? and do you have had any trouble with customs ever are they declared as merchandise?

Thanks MotoS

BMW and Merc are fav

Some times yes,but i prefer to tell seller that kindly mention used on the box so that they dont charge customs and I order in group so that i can save on shipping as many of the seller do combine shipping.

Onces customs charged me hafty customs on the MR collection model ed.

She is the same person who can look different in a bikini with hair tied up, in a long black dress with her hair straight down, in greasy trainers with tousled up hair.. wearing nothing with her hair everywhere.

Same Eleketrah - but you still want her. Tongue

Good one Guggga

RE: 1:18 Collection(New Models 6)
Do you get the cars from US or Europe, how much do you pay approx. for shipping, I find the charges from US to be quite high of 45USD which puts me off of buying any from there, any good dealer link which you can recommend

RE: 1:18 Collection(Ferrari 599)
Oh man....a Ferrari, awesome Fiorano there Ravi, one of the grandest looking grand tourers ever!! I would have loved it more if it had been in the standard maroon colour. Also, I think HW bungled up the tyres a bit by making them quite fat, look odd on such a sleek car.

RE: 1:18 Collection(Ferrari 599)
Nice car there Ravi.
Ebony- a high profile superstore used to stock these in Delhi (before they shut 5 yrs back). Should have got it while it was there.

@ Karan: Maroon?! Dude, RED is the official color for all Ferarri's man- I mean there are yellow and black ferrari's too- but red is THE color to get a Ferrari in.

Its like Carmen Elektra looks best in blonde.
Auburn won;t do. Tongue

RE: 1:18 Collection(Ferrari 599)
^^ Now here's where you are totally wrong Guggga....the 599's trademark colour is maroon unlike other Ferraris whose colours are scarlet. The 599 also came in red but it was primarily launched and branded in maroon and also looks best in maroon IMO.

RE: 1:18 Collection(Ferrari 599)
^^ True, I could be wrong about the trademark color for 599, but the F1 color for Ferrari since the 1930s is Red.

In my opinion the Rossa Corsa (racing red) looks the best on a Ferrari. I wouldn't buy a Ferrrari if it weren't Red. But then, it's just my opinion.
