One of the best models in my collection today and easily one of AUTOart's best.
Abundance of detail and the person who was in charge of making it has done justice to this model. The wire mesh on the bonnet vents and the bumpers is actually a wire mesh and not simulated transparent plastic. The headlights are a delight (pun not intended). The handbrake looks like a photoetched piece. The paint is uniform and the tampo printing is sharp. The interior is also very well crafted with all the details you would expect to find in a rally car model. The drivers instrument binnacle is missing the meters and stuff. I guess at 150 MPH on narrow, twisty mountain tracks, the driver couldnt afford to take his eyes off the road.
The 2003 Monte Carlo rally was won by Loeb/ Elena in their Citroen. Burns/Reid took the 5th place.

Looks exceptionally good! But thats what Autoart is. The roller cage and the steering looks fantastic.

Oh it is exceptionally good and Autoart always have done a consistently great job on their rally cars. This one was lying in the Modelart shop in Bombay with no takers for a long time. I always seen it, felt tempted and kept it back in the shelf. The one fine day it came home with me and I kicked myself for not picking it up earlier.
