RE: Saran's diecast collection
Lovely one Saran. Seen this in real in Bangalore Auto Expo. Great to see it in the same color in a scale. Can you post more details of this car (mainly brand and price) and also more pictures.

RE: Saran's diecast collection
Thanks Channa, Ravi and Pratham, I also have seen it in flesh and skin(one word - Deadly) but owning one is a dream as no indian diecast importer is ready to bring JADA toys (only one who makes these models in 1:18). I have already scheduled a photo session (not yet decided outdoor or indoor which solely depends on climate) this saturday so some stuff by sunday evening or monday morning. The price would be one crazy part of this acquisition because $29 is the cost and $43 is for shipping, don’t laugh! here the passion overruled all the basic points of being practical.

OH MY GOD.....oh my God....Saran, congrats on getting the most beautiful modern-day muscle car ever!!! This looks simply superb man...I agree with you on the price, the shipping cost ruins the entire budget.
My favorite post on SMC "I wait for the day when you go ballistic while buying models after you get your first job. I think I would be seeing KV & the Modelart guys bursting fire crackers all day." (quote Winston) ![]() picasaweb.google.com/karansharma8783 |

RE: Saran's diecast collection
Thanks Ravi, Karan and Bandhav, I never felt bad for paying more on shipping but always feel very happy on signing delivery slip and opening the box for the first view of the actual model itself.
This hobby by default is an expensive, even a lowest budget model(1:18) at Rs.900/- is a hole on an average indian's budget but still people do collect for the sake of excitement of owning a ferrari, merc, bmw etc. (which is mostly a dream) The biggies can own one or two or three ferraris but owning a full collection (including F1 cars and concept car) is not so possible which this hobby can satisfy. For me paying more is not an issue but getting a damaged piece is. Saran - always online! http://www.xdiecast.com |
