Guys, I want to sell off following 2 models from my collection:

1968 Lamborghini Miura in yellow from Burago
Lamborghini Diablo SV in blue from Welly

Both are in 1:18 scale. I'll let go of them for Rs.1200/- apiece excluding any delivery charges.

I have tampered with the Welly Diablo to try to correct the front ride height but not with favourable results. However, the car still looks decent. I'll definitely post pics of how the model currently looks like so that anyone interested can make an informed decision. The only problem is that the wheels are no longer freely steerable.

Edit - Please note that I'm not selling both these cars as a package, anyone of you is free to buy either one of them.

When i saw this under new post, i was really shocked, karan selling his 1:18s.

Though i understand that you intend to replace the Bburago Miura with Welly one but with Diablo? Just because wheels are no more steerable you will let go a great model? Or is there something more to it? I would love to know.

This is for the second time in history of SMC a member is selling two of his 1:18 lamborghinis together

Well Bandhav you are right about the Miura, I intend to get the Welly one. As for the Diablo, the ride height is just too much a putoff for me to really appreciate the beauty of the Diablo. Lambos are all holy grails for me Bandhav, Lamborghini is my favourite automobile manufacturer. I don't mind waiting for getting hold on a really perfectly done Diablo SV. When I'll have ample cash on hand, I plan to hunt for the Diablo SV in yellow made by Autoart.

Even the Miura, later on (read much much later on), I can't be satisfied just with the Welly version, I'll have to get the Kyosho version to make up for the non-openable engine compartment in the Welly one. But for now, the Welly version will do.

Hey Karan, i was just thinking about this sale of yours and i realized that reason for this sale is that the models you have are not perfect. So why not the Maisto murceialago? Even this model is far from perfect.

Oh no....I'm quite satisfied with the Murc LP640 thank you. One of the best Maisto models around, amazing finishing and paintwork. For my budget levels, quite a good find. The stance is correct too.

^^I have the same model in same color, and i have noticed following problems 1, Black finish on doors is horrible, 2 Doors dont shut properly (i hope its not piece specific).
Though you are right about the stance, its just right.
