RE: MY SMALL COLLECTION
Relatively cheap, but my point was I would always prefer a 2000 Rs nicely detailed model over a very nicely detailed 5000 Rs model.

RE: MY SMALL COLLECTION
Oh man, yeah, shipping's a pain to deal with. I usually ship stuff out to a European address (which is only 12 Euro) and either pick it up myself/have it picked up later.

RE: MY SMALL COLLECTION
Shipping, Yes the biggest pain in ass for mere mortals like me who don't have a European address.

You see a very desirable models at a very competitive price, you start dreaming about holding the model in your hand, doing a shoot and then you eyes drift down to shipping cost to India, which is in some case more than double the cost of the model itself and your dreams are shattered into pieces.

RE: MY SMALL COLLECTION
I think modellisimo charges one of the highest shipping charges to India. Bandhav, you might want to try out http://www.allcarmodels.com which charges about $33 and http://www.diecast-toys.com which charges about $45 shipping to India. Although, I think right now might not be a good time to buy internationally what with the dollar crossing the Rs. 50 mark Sad

My favorite post on SMC "I wait for the day when you go ballistic while buying models after you get your first job. I think I would be seeing KV & the Modelart guys bursting fire crackers all day." (quote Winston)
