RE: Few Models
The Autoart Porsche 917's are very old model they are just applying new paintjobs, I don't have them as yet good alternative would be 917K by minichamps or 917 longtail by Autoart as its a newer mould, if you go for it then you have to start with Porsche 904 to 962 the progression for this racing car, 917 is available in I think 5 variations of Body shell

A new addition after a real long interval, this model was in transit for last 4 months had given up of ever seeing it, not a great shape for the car the chrome roof/top is very nicely done

RE: Few Models
Alternate is Norev, not seen their models but what I read is that the wheels don't steer, with expensive models in general good craftsmanship is guaranteed although some dud's do crop once in a while

RE: Few Models
Minichamps is the best that's what I meant. Norev can never come close but good to know they do it too.

RE: Few Models
Can your scale your images to 800 pixels wide? They are going way off the boundary. Nice model btw.

RE: Few Models
Minichamps are good but I am biased towards Autoart and Kyosho, Minichamps decals are not too great in comparison to them, new Autoart models touching 200USD they are fast becoming to expensive

Autoart Corvette C6 R GT1 Class, 2005 winner of Laguna Seca Oliver Gavin & Oliver Berreta , this is model has run of 6,000 pieces which is just not that exclusive, sealed body as against to the opening version of C5 R

RE: Few Models
Love the Vette, Saleel, this race version looks even more aggressive and mean than the road car.

My favorite post on SMC "I wait for the day when you go ballistic while buying models after you get your first job. I think I would be seeing KV & the Modelart guys bursting fire crackers all day." (quote Winston)
