RE: My Mini Garage
Awesome man! The Defender looks superb and so also those Harleys. I have yet to find the Night Rod and the white Harley here. The Kinsmart look 'cute' especially the Corvettes that look like little trinkets. I was never a fan of the Chevelle, atleast not the one by Maisto. But this yellow Welly looks killer! Love those wheels and the big bonnet scoop. And I think my small muscle collection really needs a steroid boost with the 1966 Goat.

Thanks u thanks u I luckily came across these harleys in model art few weeks back and bought them pronto. The white cop electra glide harley and nightrod were prized catch for me. The Kinsmarts were picked up becoz of their cuteness as you mentioned The corvettes are the cutest Defender looks good, but the front wheels again don't turn Only the front hood and doors open. The Chevelle is indeed unique, the fat rear rubber is one of it's kind! 1966 is a very effective steroid, do try it

RE: My Mini Garage
Vasanth, when are you going to finish assembling those kits? Procastrination is a disease with us collectors. Those rally cars looks real nice.

Righto, i usually assemble the 1:24 kits the same day, the big but this time around is space, i don't have an inch of space in my display cabinet for these to squeeze in, i don't want these to gather dust after getting assembled So am thinking of ways to store them before i start assembling them. That's why i haven't yet started on my two 1:18 burago kits either. I will have to start on these soon. |

RE: My Mini Garage
Nice collection vaas2000. As diablo rightly said, I too have a couple of assembly kits from Tamiya, Revell and others that I am yet to assemble even after years of purchase. Have just been procrastinating.

RE: My Mini Garage
Welly sold out?!? That is good news and bad news. Good news is that now the importers have got a big thumbs up from Indian collectors and bad news is that I have not seen one in person till now. KV, please tell me that your bundle of Wellys will be put up on DCM soon.

KV, please tell me that your bundle of Wellys will be put up on DCM soon. Actually, I wanted to post the details in the forum for Frustrated Collectors as a Frustrated Retailer. The story goes like this..... On Sunday, when it was chilled out there and raining, I went to my distributor to buy Welly 1:18s but I could get only six pieces of 1:24s and 15 pieces of smaller scale, little less than 1:43. Looking at my shocking expressions the distirbutor's employees were jokingly commenting that these were only 'samples'. Yesterday I received the call from Zapak's Ludhiana office saying that........... click here to read more........ |
