RE: My Mini Garage
Hmm, checking out the welly 1966 pontiac Gto on net, i realised that it's vastly superior and slightly different than my maisto 1965 pontiac gto hurst edition.

Edit: Few pics of this welly piece here:
http://www.another forum.com/forum/1656136-post6427.html

Compare the above welly to my maisto 1965 wala here:

Now what do you guys think?
I was thinking on the lines of 'What the heck, it's coming home this weekend!' Big Grin

Oh it is very nice. In the 50's and 60's American cars, there were design modifications made every year. So cars from the following year will not look anything like the cars from the previous year. Just like this GTO.

When you have to shoot, shoot. Don't talk.

And the people responisble for these small changes would have never ever thought even in their wildest imagination that how these small changes can hurt the economy of some individual that too after almost 5 decades. Damn them man.

RE: My Mini Garage
Wow, the Welly version of the GTO looks so much more better than it's Maisto sister, overall finishing much better and yes there are some cosmetic changes to the exterior, which actually makes the car also look much better than the '65 version. I think I would be going for this Welly version, no doubt.

My favorite post on SMC "I wait for the day when you go ballistic while buying models after you get your first job. I think I would be seeing KV & the Modelart guys bursting fire crackers all day." (quote Winston)

+1, there's lot less chrome on the grills and the rear in welly 1:18 Gto. It looks better finished than maisto GTO. Oh yes, it came home today Big Grin Along with a 1:24 Welly Defender (last piece) and the following 1:30 something kinsmarts:

2009 Nissan GT-R R35 - Black (last piece)
1957 Chevy Corvette (White with red and sky blue with white)

Will post pics soon!
