RE: Stock Lists & Coming Soon products at DreamCarModels.com
I am crazy about the blue because it is such a departure from the blacks, silvers and greys that Maisto has for its Mercs. You could probably guage some reactions here before you decide to keep stock of the blue ones. If not for my black SLR, I would have definitely gone in for the blue car.

karansharma8783 Wrote:Hey KV, any chance of getting Hot Wheels 1:18 Ferrari models here? I would glady forego any other diecasts in my wishlist now for a 1:18 Ferrari, don't have a single one. The only one that's around here is the 612 Scaglietti on Ebay and that's like the least favourite Ferrari for me. Buddy I'm afraid HW Ferrari wont be possible at this moment. Trying to penetrate the lines of Mattel top brass in India (under guidance from our Guru at SMC) and lets see what happens. I think Winston, alongwith other collectors, once convinced Mattel people to get Ferraris into India but u know very well the premium at which they were retailed and it didnt work for long. Let's wait and see what happens next (because it seems only Mattel has Ferrari license for making their diecasts). On the other hand, good news is that we can expect some F1 diecasts scale models soon from importers of Bburago........ |

F1 models? But they better not be the Burago 1:24 ones. They were more like toys and less like models. HW dug their own grave when it came to 1:18 models. They retailed their crappy 1:18s which costed more than Maistos. The models had lots of issues with paint, finishing and QC. The 612 is actually one of their better models and if not for the non Ferrari,non-sporty image of the car which many of us cannot digest, it would be a nice addition.

Just ordered for Bburago Lamborghini Revention 1:24 from DreamCarModels.com, i need to send across the cheque to them tomorrow.
KV, it would be great if you have net banking as in Paisa Pay in eBay. Rather than we sending a cheques or manually do a third party transfer. Also would love to see Ferrari Scale Models in your store

kvsk4 Wrote:Well, you can pay by Cheque (payable at par) or Demand Draft. Or you may transfer funds online into our bank account and then there is also facility of Cash-on-Delivery (but at extra expense of Rs.150/- or more). Ahh.. You do COD as well? Even better. Wouldn't mind paying extra.. especially if it is the Mini. Cheque also no problem. Let me know when they are available. TQ Ayie |

Ayie, I have booked 3 Green Minis of 1969 from Bburago and 2 are kept reserved for you but these are at my distributor's store. It will take another 1 or 2 days for new billing formalities with this guy and i think i should have the stock by this weekend. I'll let you know as soon as I inspect the models personally. |

channabasanna Wrote:Just ordered for Bburago Lamborghini Revention 1:24 from DreamCarModels.com, i need to send across the cheque to them tomorrow. Hi Channabasanna, many thanks for ordering the Lambo Reventon. It will be despatched soon. I have noted your concern regarding money transfers and will improve upon it in future. However, a feature like Paisa Pay is not possible for us at the moment due to our business volume and security reasons. You see, Ebay is a PayPal company and PayPal is into this business since long, have huge currency transactions and can afford this kind of system. Moreover, they are big enough to get RBI licenses, other govt. departmental clearances, etc, etc. At the moment, our "online payment system" accepts payments through credit/debit cards using secure PayPal payment gateway and PayPal account (2 separate things). Only issue here is that at times Indian debit cards might not work on Paypal payment gateway. Secondly, PayPal doesnt accept payment in INR for the time being. We do intend to shift over to another service provider, like CC Avenue, etc. as business picks up. So kindly bear with us for some time and I promise we will keep on improving our website as time passes. You all are free to send in your suggestions to me via email at kskalsi@dreamcarmodels.com for anything that you like us to improve upon in the website. If your suggestions are feasible we will certainly include them into our system. |
