RE: Diecast scale model CARs at www.DreamCarModels.com
This one is a nice SUV, the first one that I even considered getting. I came across one about 15 days back in the flesh, looked royal and masculine at the same time. But I'm a bit hesitant to get it since I am now very suspicious of Burago's scale problems. KV, can you be honest and tell me if you think that the wheels are a bit small and the gap between the arch and the wheel is bigger than usual?
My favorite post on SMC "I wait for the day when you go ballistic while buying models after you get your first job. I think I would be seeing KV & the Modelart guys bursting fire crackers all day." (quote Winston) ![]() picasaweb.google.com/karansharma8783 |

It is a budget model and a little work can get it right even if it isn't. The model looks very nice by itself. I really don't think KV has to go and answer everyone about the kind of goods he is selling and you certainly cannot call him out for that. You want spot on detailing, keep aside 6250 rs and get a Kyosho. Even Kyoshos aren't all that accurate and their QC is nothing to write home about even after paying big money for them. When you have to shoot, shoot. Don't talk. ![]() |

Kyoshos come with horrible paint blisters, that is worse than a mal-scale. Not all people can really make out out-of-scale but even a kid can see those chicken pox marks on the paints. Karan, We should just accept a budget model as-is. That is why they are budget models. The reason, Exotos, BBR, Lane cost a bomb is nothing but attention to detail and a larger number of assembly parts. But then from a 10 feet distance, they are all the same. The choice of getting a model or a brand is entirely upto you. I do not have bburagos, welly or will never buy kyoshos due to my personal taste, but I will gladly buy a minichamps evn if it comes as a 1:16 instead of 1:18. It is completely, out of scope to ask a dealer/seller about these. may be you can just complain to bburago directly. ![]() Am Not Weird, Am Just a LIMITED EDITION!!! |
