Ari you are right about the names. Actually we all are so close knit that I forgot there are several other people viewing this forum whom we don’t know or might not be registered.

Well the reaction of people is mixed--- found few people in Ludhiana who are into collection of diecast models and aware of names like Autoart & Minichamps. Then there are some youths who are interested in off-road buggies and hobby grad scale models. But these kind of people are few at the moment or have not made to our store yet.

Most of the people who come here are not aware of Licensed scale models with exact profiling and details like 1:1 vehicles. They are surprised that such things even exist and think these are good for gifting only. Some even said – “will you also be stocking other gift items like stuff toys, chocolates, etc, etc.”

But I’m sure with little bit of focused promotion we will be able to spread this hobby in our city.

The new looks of DCM site will take another week or so because I couldn’t focus on it for quite some time now. However, since things are getting in place now, we will be able to add more products to the site more often.

There is one more thing that made me happy, kids are deeply into collecting HotWheels and Matchbox models. And they have such immense knowledge about what to collect and how to collect and talk like grownups, just as we do it on SMC. So we would like to add another category on our website for dinky models and their tracks, play sets to cater to this segment of very young collectors. Moreover, since we want to encourage people in our city to order online and avail cod facility it would be a good option to include HW & MB items online. Atleast it will be feasible within our region. So please suggest an appropriate category name and sub-categories for this kind of stuff.
