Well dear, we are mainly brain storming about where to put up GreenLight 1:64 scale models in terms of brick-n-mortar retailing. Let me disclose that we have re-strategized our business plan recently. Earlier we had a small retail outlet and an even smaller office in it.

But now it’s gone. Since start of Dec2011 we have a much much bigger office where we also retail locally. This shift was made for good….. so we could concentrate more on online business and make our footing more firm. Once this is done we will venture out into retail outlets. Well guys, I can see a lot of suggestions coming up there. Thank you all, I now have a lot of options to think upon.

Winston, you are right, chain of stores certainly won’t understand the real value but I guess it is still best way to introduce models to a lot of walk-ins. Also their orders in decent numbers will have good effect overall. And then there are certain other reasons which will be best discussed on phone. Maybe, to avoid GLs being displayed alongwith Hotwheels etc, we can develop a display solution (or better ask the company to do it) which showcases our collectible scale models only with some info that gives insight into hobby of scale model collection. What say?

Going for your own showcase would be nice KV but the stores would expect you to invest in the displays. I say go in with those brilliant garage diorama cars, make a nice diorama and see the people getting attracted like bees to nectar.

Oh yes, you are right buddy..about the diorama thing which will attract people. So we need to first find the sourcing dept. of one of these stores and convey them our products and idea.
