RE: Indian Cars
WoW! Awesome collections. From where do you guys got these cars? Any specific manufacturer?
@Amit: your amby looks great.
@nagacharan: nice WIP. Hope to see the end result soon.
@winston: the Fiat 1100 is really gorgeous and looks to have a good finish. What make?

RE: Indian Cars
Abhi, it is a 1:43 Starline model. It does have a good finish. Even Premier never gave us the 1:1 painted as well as this tiny model. Big Grin

If you can't dazzle them with brillance, baffle them with bullshit.

Thanks...the plastic ones are from Centy toys. Don't buy them now, because they make crap. The earlier ones were pretty good.

@ srinjayray...you can have this...but in 1:43 scale.

Dude I've them all Big Grin - the Omnis, 800s, Esteems, Zens, Gypsys, Armadas, MM540s, MM Classics, DCM & Leyland Cargo trucks from those times when they didn't have the pullback action mechanisms. Those were my first scale models and I still love them from the bottom of my heart. Later on when the scales started changing from 1:42/ 40 (don't remember exactly), I stopped buying them. My last purchase recently was the Amby by Centy Toys. I wanted an Amby from an age when I started identifying models. My elder cousins had diecast Ambys and Fiats, which were obviously not made to the right scale or replicated properly but during the late 70s those were the only toys available I suppose. I used to stand by their showcase in the living room drooling over hours, even days, they'd probably cared to give me those cars once or twice to fondle and play. He he but I still cherish those times, he he... Tongue

Though I have seen all your childhood collection but never paid attention to the models you have. Since I always drool over your Diecast collection, I have neglected them Sad Seems I need to drop down at your place asap for another drinking session Tongue
