My Ships
here are some of my ships, mostly built by my dad. the Titanic is made by me. they are Academy kits. the thing is i lost the key of the showcase when our house got painted so could not get them out. will post detailed photos later once i let them out.
here the 4 ships are The Titanic, Queen Elizabeth, a Greek warship and The Bedford Whaler.

RE: My Ships
Oh man! those are gorgeous. I cannot imagine the time and patience you guys must have put it to create them out of nothing. Did you paint the QE and the Titanic. The rigging on the sails of the Whaler must have made you to pull the hair out of your head in frustration. Awesome stuff man, really awesome. Dude...the ships far outweigh the cars in terms of catching eyeballs and imaginations. Keep them coming.

Edit: Whats the size of the QE and the Titanic.

If you can't dazzle them with brillance, baffle them with bullshit.

RE: My Ships
thanks man. it took me around 1 and half months to finish the Titanic. the QE and the Titanic are both 1:64 (not a scale model car size). back then i had lots of time after my exams were complete, so it didn't matter to build these ships. but now its not possible.
each and every part is painted. these came in black/grey colors. i had to buy Humbrol paints to paint them. there are a couple of more ships, i'll put them up.

RE: My Ships
@ arkin, i don't know the scale.

@ motos...I too have faced the same problem, these are so delicate that a slight mishandling destroys everything!!
