RE: My Other Ladies..
Hey Ayie...classy looking cabinets and looks like you have monopolized all the cabinets in the living room. Way to go!!! Nicely displayed cars too. I see you have some car related books as well.

When you have to shoot, shoot. Don't talk.

Nice cabinets, Ayie. Love the black ones. How much did they cost you, I am looking for something similar. Thanks.

The airtight thing was actually DIY, using 3M Scotch Tape. No matter how good the carpenter adjust them, the gaps was not possible to prevent. All of my display cabinet was DIYed.

Thanks Winston. Believe it or not, most of the books were bought here. Books are real cheap in Mumbai. I always waited the Asish Book Fair (normally in Jan every year) to get car related book. Most of the thick, hard covered books can be obtained below Rs1000 only after heavy discount. Heaven!

But I still finding a good solution on how to display the cars. Really wish to get some diorama things like hydraulic lift-ramp.. tools.. etc. What I got now are some bits and pieces from the damaged models.

Channa & Sidvi,

Thanks. The cabinets are custom made and cost me about Rs13,000 a piece, without the glass doors & locks.

Have to skip 5 Autoart/Kyosho models for them, Bandhav. Couldn't find a better way to display them.. so have to custom-made them.

But then to invest Rs26k to keep Rs 1 lakh of cars in pristine & dust-free condition sounds like a good 'investment', right... ?

You are right Ayie.. Its really a good investment.
May be we can completely dedicate a room for keeping them in the way we want to display Smile like making a garage, some tracks, some like auto show and many more...
