RE: Update on models available in your cities
There is a Lifestyle sale going on here too but no such diecast in this outlet. 4 years back I got a 1:18 Maisto Jaguar X Type sedan for 700 Rs. The MRP was 1275 or so. My best Maisto deal ever.

My best Maisto deal ever. Really? check them out online and see, iam not sure if they are having 50% off sale only in bangalore. Their diecasts suck big time, they don't know how to handle them, almost all scales till 1:24 are totally banged up, one 1:18 merc had it's passenger seat outside the box ![]() That's some deal you got for the jag! i wish i can come across something like that here, i would pick up any car of 1:18 for that price Only hope is landmark's annual discount sale, they've got some yummy 1:18/1:24 buragos and signatures, imagine them at 50% off

RE: Update on models available in your cities
I agree with you Vasanth. Neither Shoppers Stop nor Lifestyle nor any of these big malls know to handle delicate stuff like diecast. The Mercedes Benz S500 cars are always the most bashed up I have seen. Bumpers falled off, rear windows rattling all around, missing emblems.
Landmark here has the best collection of Bburagos. Would have to check everyday for them to announce a sale and the make a dash for the store. When you have to shoot, shoot. Don't talk. ![]() |

Worst abusers of scale models, lifestyle beats shoppers stop though, they manage to dismantle their scale models! ![]() Landmark here is also the only place where i have seen 1:18 scale buragos, they also have lots of newray 1:12 bikes, most of the places here have only maistos in all scales. Also only Landmark has very well maintained toys section and quite big too compared to other places. Am waiting for landmark to announce their annual sale too

RE: Update on models available in your cities
All you guys there are lucky. We don’t get to see anything other than bburagos and maistos up north (Punjab). BTW, how much does and average Road Signature model (Yat Ming) cost in India in scales 1:18 and 1:24. I have just seen Yat Ming on internet but not in real. Are these much better quality than bburago and maisto??
Please throw some light into this. Thanks

RE: Update on models available in your cities
Yatming 1:18 models are priced similarly to Maisto, around 1275 Rs. The Signature brand is different and those models are starting at 2000 Rs. going to 3500 Rs. for 1:18s. The Signature 1:32 cars cost about 600 Rs. upwards.

RE: Update on models available in your cities
Please correct me if I am wrong:
1) Road Signature belongs to Yatming. These are price wise same as Maisto/Bburago for 1:18 scale. (but are these better in quality then these 2 brands?) 2) Signature is altogather different and belongs to a different company. |

RE: Update on models available in your cities
Yatming and Signature are two different companies. Yatming has a brand called Road Signature just like Maisto has Premiere edition and Special edition.
Signature makes mostly vintage cars and has a pro Nazi leaning.#&%^*#. The quality of their cars is better than Maisto in most cases but its like comparing apples to oranges since Maisto makes mostly modern cars compared to Signature. Yatming has greatly improved their offerings from 10 years ago and makes some eclectic cars. When you have to shoot, shoot. Don't talk. ![]() |

RE: Update on models available in your cities
Thank you for the compliments kvsk. I have been reading about diecasts since Y2K when I first got internet home. Also active on an international diecast forum for the past 5 years now. I have lots of diecast review sites on my favorites list. They are listed on the site here.
I wish I was in the diecast business. Would definitely like to change the diecast scene here. But it requires tonnes of investment and even more patience which at this time I have a big scarcity of. So maybe in the future. When you have to shoot, shoot. Don't talk. ![]() |
