Wow, this is actually pretty good detailing for a 1:43, it looks really cute, how much did it cost in rupees?
I must say, you have quite a quaint taste in model collecting and moreover, these type of models are impossible to find in India.

Thanks, I do accept I have a quaint taste in the models I collect. Mine are mostly Vintage and Classic plus WW2 Military. You will see more of them, as my collection is pretty large, almost 250 or more (have never taken an inventory).
These matchbox models cost around UKL 25 or more.
Also see my avatar pic, its of a British LRDG Willys MB with two bearded commandos in the deserts of North Africa during WW2 hitting hard at Rommel's Afrika Corps.
By the way, I'm also an avid Vintage car colllector with around 6 cars and 4 bikes.You can see some of my actual cars and scale models in;

The biggest question that's been in my mind always is how do you get hold of the actual vintage cars? I mean, I see that show "It's all about your car, honey" on NDTV Good Times channel and they have shown several collectors in India possessing some of the classiest cars ever made.
So, did you inherit these from your dad or grandad or how??

No, my cars were not inherited. Its my hobby for almost 15years.All the cars you see in my photosite were non runners in dilapitated condition
when I bought them and then I have restored them to the condition you see them now !!

Hey modeller, you have aroused my interest in these cute little things, I think they have done an amazing thing with a 1:43 scale. So do you have an entire line of models from this yesteryear series?
And can you please tell me if I can find anyone of these anywhere in India? And also their approximate cost in rupees?

These are from the UK. Cost around UKL 25 or so depending on the model.
Dont know if you get them here. I have noticed that most models we get here are of modern cars. There is a very limited selection as far as Vintage and Classic are concerned. These are amazing with very good detailing.
