There's always a catch in all good finds!!!!

My favorite post on SMC "I wait for the day when you go ballistic while buying models after you get your first job. I think I would be seeing KV & the Modelart guys bursting fire crackers all day." (quote Winston)

RE: My First 1:18 Lambos
Hopefully they say 15 days and deliver within a week. In Bombay, you have option of cash on delivery. I am so tempted to order 1-2 cars but afraid that since they are Buragos, I better inspect the models before I buy them. Paint issues are a major headache with Burago.

RE: My First 1:18 Lambos
Sorry to that Vasanth. From what I have seen in the past few years, getting a seller to give us good discounts is as rare as finding oil in your backyard. A mall here called Hypercity was giving a Mattel 1:18 model free with every 1:18 Mattel model purchased. Now that will sound like a great deal. But when you consider that the models were half baked whether free or for money, its not a good deal at all.

RE: My First 1:18 Lambos
Vasanth, I hope you can add a 1:18 or two every weekend.
Going back to Lambos, I hope Maisto makes a GT version of the Murcielago with all the bells and whistles like rear spoilers and skirts and carbon fibre body work. I had seen a 1:43 version made by a company whose name I cannot recall now. Nice car, the only sad thing was that the carbon fibre printing on the body was out of scale. More like 1:18 than 1:43.

When you have to shoot, shoot. Don't talk.
