The choice is limited to 20 models as of now:

http://www.gadgets.in/index.php/toys-bab...-cars.html

Check out the price of the LamboTongue Thats a bloody steal for a 1:18 scale, with free shipping!Wink
Have just ordered for the lambo and Jeep wrangler Sahara ;)They have varied payment options including netbanking! The wait begins for my first ever Burago 1:18 babiesTongue Will post up once i recieve them

Vasanth, I don't know about others but you have done a great service to a collector like me who lives in a small place like jamshedpur and has to hunt for models online.

The lambo reventon is indeed priced at a steal, you can't get any other 1:18 model at just 800 bucks!!!

However, a word of caution - all the other bburago models on this site are priced at 1425 and some even 1975, which is costlier than the normal price as the printed price of all these models is 1275. So I guess they have included the delivery charges into the price offered on the site.

RE: My First 1:18 Lambos
I doubt that Reventon is a 1:18. I seen one at a mall here and the 1:24 was for 700 odd rs. Either thats a typo about the rate (which I guess should be 1725) or the size.

Usually the maisto 1:18s cost in the range of 1300-1500 so i guess the price they have quoted of Rs 1425 is okish. The 1975 walas are classics and exotics, i have even seen an exotic merc of maisto at 1925 bucks. With out extra charges i guess the price is okish.

I doubt so as they have only 20 models listed and all are 1:18s, i don't think they will have a single 1:24 model and then mention it wrong too. Price wise i think it might be because they might be clearing out lambo stocks as such.
I have bought a pajero of autoart earlier too from model art in same way, they sold it at 40% discount! as they had too many pieces of it, so imagine the joy of owning an autoart pajero (1:18) for just Rs 1200!Tongue
Might get lucky again with this siteTongue. I will post up once i recieve the models. Smile

Yes, I noticed that, but still ordered as any make 1:18 for that price is a loot. Will update once I get the cars so others can order if what is shown is what I get.

Vasanth, there's really no point in paying 1975 for a Bburago model which costs just 1275. Believe me at that price you would expect something much better than what a Bburago delivers. I don't mean to dishearten you or anything but probably you are excited because you have just ventured into 1:18 scale models.

However, I think I have some info that might help you and Alan too. I believe both you guys are in Delhi. If that is so, then you might contact Mr. Sharad Shankar at 09312500362, who is the Sales Manager at Enn Ess Trades, who are the official distributor for Bburago in India. That's how I got my Jaguar E-Type delivered.
Better still, since they are located in Delhi, you might call him up and visit their godown and if you are lucky perhaps you could get the Bburagos at a lesser price than the printed one of 1275.

I have got another number of Enn Ess Trades in case you are unable to reach Mr. Shankar - 011-41406729

Hope this helps!!!!

RE: My First 1:18 Lambos
Found a good Indian online store which has plenty 1:18 Bburagos and all priced right. Don't know however if they charge for delivery. Go to http://www.toyworld.in and go to the cars section.

Lots of confusion hereRolleyes Iam not ordering any models from that site other than what i have already ordered. I ordered for the lambo as it was priced at around 800 and for Jeep sahara as it is priced at 1425 (also haven't see the sahara version in maisto). Iam not buying any model from that site that is listed as 1975. Believe me, i would not pay anything above 1500 for either burago or maisto, I would rather get an autoart paying twice the amount!Tongue
Thanks for the contact, but me and alan are from bangalore Sad But will be useful if i land up in delhi sometime for sure Smile

RE: My First 1:18 Lambos
toyworld.in does charge for delivery. It is upwards of Rs. 100 for a 1:18 model and increases as the number of models that you order. I would have liked them to charge actuals but they just multiply the courier charges by the number of models that you order. So say if your courier would cost you Rs. 250 for 4 models by weight, toyworld charges 400 Rs. +. You would have to talk to these guys before you order as the shipping would kill all the joy.

When you have to shoot, shoot. Don't talk.
