1956 Ford F 100 Pick-up by Welly
This was pending from me for a long time. Finally, I moved my ass and did the photo-shoot yesterday. Picked this from Gugga's last sale. This is another well crafted model from Welly in 1/18 scale. The colour looks gorgeous.
Some details: (Correct me, if wrong): Engine: 272 CID (4.5 L) Y-block V8 Max Motive Power @rpm: 285 BHP (209.76 KW) @ 3000 Max Torque @rpm: 244 Nm Transmission: 3 speed MT Ford-o-Matic Curb weight: 45000 lbs (20411.65 kg) Top Speed: 112.63 kmph Once again a big thanks to Gugga for parting with this hunk ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Abhi,
The backdrop is just right for the pickup, how much I love those pickup's. And this is one hell of a model from Welly, One day would love to add this to my collection. |

Good one Abhi, as Manish said the backdrop is perfect for it.
I have an idea, why dont you make some small cardboard boxes and then keep them as load in the pick up

@Manish: thanks for the appreciation.
@Channa: thanks for liking and the idea. I did think of something like that but being a lazy ass, the plan was not implemented. Will surely do something of the sort.

Great pics bro! I'm kinda regretting selling it after seeing your pics! The theme suits the pickup, though it looks's to squeaky clean in the setting

I was waiting for the response from the original owner True, the model is so beautiful that anyone would regret after parting. Thanks you liked the treatment. Thanks a ton for the rep bro!

@Srinjay: rare colour or not, am not sure but it's a great colour and looks awesome on the truck.

You've gotta love these honest old American pick-up trucks.And this one is particularly lovely thanks to that great colour.The finish looks good too.And these pictures look very nice,Abhiroop.The setting is fresh and suits this quaint little truck perfectly.Good job!
By the way,I think you forgot a decimal point while mentioning the truck's weight,Abhiroop.
