My DIY Paper cars
Was cleaning the display shelf of drawing room today and found some Paper cars lying around in corner,I built these a couple of years back with very basic tools including a paper knife, ruler few caps of pen, Fevicol and few sheets of Punch paper. I printed the pattern on sheets and assembled the model after cutting them, twisting and turning the paper in desired shapes and gluing it together. I remember, the hardest part in the whole process was to fabricate the wheels.
Actually got fascinated by the hobby of building own model cars from simple sheet of paper a couple of years back. Have been building the models of houses, apartments, showrooms and what not since a decade or so.
Anyways I would refrain from typing any more and let the pictures do the talking.Hope you guys will like it. Smile

Holy fcuk....dude.....I'M BLOWN AWAY!!! Never seen anything like this. Man...I bow to your enthusiasm and creativity brother. Are you an architecture student, by any chance???

I want to know did you paint yourself all the texture and details on the plain sheet like the hinges, RVM's and other such details???

My favorite post on SMC "I wait for the day when you go ballistic while buying models after you get your first job. I think I would be seeing KV & the Modelart guys bursting fire crackers all day." (quote Winston)

I love the Citroen and that trailer is real sweet. Awesome work on the Jeep and MG as well. You got a way with paper, glue and scissors Samsag. WTG.

If you can't dazzle them with brillance, baffle them with bullshit.

Mmm... not exactly actually i used a few crayons for shading and a "B" pencil to enhance the detailing & lines of the cars.

Thanks Winston, FYI i was forcefully handed over the scissors at the school, albeit in the wrong hand.. ya i am a lefty excluding writing everything fells on the wrong side.Big Grin , as i struggled to use it. From that moment i found a way with Scissors and the results are in front of you. Wink.
