Admiration of creativity-Wire Art
Thought of sharing something unusual with you guys. Actually its neither a scale model nor a diecast but more of creativity thing. Day before i went to Hazratgunj, to purchase some medicines and on one side of the pavement i saw this bearded Muslim fellow twisting some wires with a plier. Had a quick glance at what was he upto but didn't stop there and continued my way to the Med. shop. After returning i asked him about the thing he's selling and he gladly pointed out the cycles in different size. Further he told they are made from single aluminum wire and there's no joint in there. The range was from Rs 20 to 50 a pc. depending on the size. Looked really nice though i didn't have any reason to purchase them i still ended up buying 2 just as a token of appreciation.
I really admire the creativity & dedication of such people who are master craftsmen in their own field and i look forward to the thoughts of fellow SMCians.

Not that it doesn't happen anywhere else, but its hard to get the deserved recognition for your skills in arts here. I'm sure these things are worth more than 20-50 bucks. Good that you bought them Sagar.
+1 rep from me.
I think I've seen these in some local fares but they didn't have these colors.

RE: Admiration of creativity-Wire Art
These cycles are indeed cool cause they are made of single strand of wire, which in itself is a nice creativity.

Glad you liked them. Thanks for the appreciation but i did nothing yaar. Just wanted to help & motivate that fellow who stood there in the chilling evening trying to sell them but nobody cared to even look at it.

+1 to what you said, they indeed are worth more than that. Though if ever this type of craftsmanship was recognized here the first exploitation would have been the Price which would have never reached them. I hope u got what i meant to say.
BTW thanks for the rep.

True. Its really not easy to bend a Aluminum wire as per ones wish in one go as its a soft metal and this gent was an expert in doing so.Bowdown
BTW Manish bhai i am sure you would have figured out each and every raw material used in there.Big Grin
