Antzster, yours was the first thread of this year but after merging the two threads, somehow they got deleted. Sorry for the confusion and inconvenience. They were quite a few replies from Slix, Petrolhead and Sri and some other members who appreciated the model. Anyways, here is a surprise for you.

You can pry open the cover gently to reveal the rotary engine. The cover has two pins in the front end and two extrusions on the back side which plug into the fire wall.

If you can't dazzle them with brillance, baffle them with bullshit.

RE: Mazda RX-8
Great car the Mazda RX-8 is and that metallic grey color suits it quite nicely.
Love the suicide doors. So, upload some closer pics of them if possible. Smile

Nice pick and wish you great additions through out the year. The engine details is indeed a surprise, Winston.

RE: Mazda RX-8
Ok I recall what I had written, I said and I quote " This is the Problem with current Generation cars, they come with this plastic engine cover which covers all the components of the car." I unquote. However I did not knew that the top cover can be removed as in the real car to reveal the engine details. The car at first was a write off but now looking at the detail and pictures this is actually growing on me Big Grin

I had said something about how unique this car is in so many ways. The suicide doors,Wankel rotary engine and the three-sided rotor inspired design elements all over make this car quite special.Great pick!!Smile
