Lovely Models Man. I was about to say something good about this Maisto, then I saw the Autoart variant and decided it's better not to say anything.

Autoart has literally nailed it, that spoiler, those alloys, rear bumper, those exhaust pipes ...just oh so perfect.

You collection ticks both the Qs, Quantity and Quality, hats off dude.

But am gonna go ahead & say it. That Maisto rendition is looking pretty even sitting next to that fantastic AUTOart. It sure does miss a lotta detailing but the price difference justifies that, right? Drinks
Am in love with that steering wheel on the Nismo. Great cars & very well captured mate! Xyxthumbs

I forgot to mention in the original but it's good to learn that such an Iconic car has been designed by someone with Indian roots/connection.

RE: 1:18 Nissan 350Z
After seeing the one made by Autoart, it has left me wondering if Maisto got the design right in the first place. I have never seen or spent time with a 1:1 350Z for comparison but the ones who got any info, please share. I don't expect Maisto to be as detailed but for what its worth, at-least the shape/form must be captured right for justice.

Congrats PH on owning them both and great pics as usual.

RE: 1:18 Nissan 350Z
Thanks for the kind words, guys.I agree that the Maisto doesn't appear quite as detailed as the AutoArt but it is a very neat scale-model.The engine and interior detail, while not as crisp as the AutoArt rendition (which costs about four times as much),is all there and neatly painted. The shape and stance are also quite perfect and the model looks brilliant on display. This is an older Maisto from a time when they made sure that they got all the basics right. The other Maistos from those days are even better. The Morgon Aero 8 is a stunner as we all know. And I have a Honda S2000 and BMW Z4 (E85) Roadster from back then that could give their respective AutoArt and Kyosho renditions a run for their money.

Inside every man is a little kid who wants to play.
