1:18 Mercedes Benz C63 AMG

And here we have the 1:18 Mercedes Benz C63 AMG (W204) by AutoArt.
I am a huge fan of this present generation C-Class.Well I was before Mercedes Benz decided it needed to look more like the Skoda Octavia/Laura and did that disappointing number on the head-lamps.
But this here is the pre-facelift version and therefore perfect in every way.Love the C63 AMG.But then it looks absolutely brilliant and goes like stink.So what's not to like?
The C63 AMG is reportedly the first AMG Mercedes designed from the ground up for performance as compared to previous AMG cars which essentially featured 'bolt on' performance modifications.Car and Driver tested the car in their December 2007 issue and recorded a 0 to 60 mph time of 3.9 seconds and a quarter-mile time of 12.3 seconds.This made the C63 AMG the quickest 4-door production sedan in the world at the time of its debut.
But enough of the techno-babble.Moving on to the photos.

Not much to see here.

But the cabin is more interesting.This one also gets the soft leather seats.Nice touch,AutoArt.

Naturally-aspirated 6208cc V8 engine.'Nuff said.


I like the bling wheels on this AutoArt rendition.But those sportier 5-spoke alloys the real car can be specced with would have been cooler still.

'6.3' badge is a bit of a sham.The engine is actually 'just' 6.2 litres.

Awesome model, though the design doesn't do much for me - I like the older gen C class Mercs more!
I love the wheels on her and those side slits in the front bumper look awesome!

Totally agree with that Skoda like facelift. This one was better but I like the W203 the best.

Have to admit that the AMG's look really great in the silver color and again a fine example of this is rendered out here.
Should thank AutoArt that they have manufactured all of them in the silver color.
This gen is far better than the present updated one which in fact needed no updation.
