1963 Chevrolet Impala SS

Welly has done a fantastic job recreating this miniature, this model has one of the best engine compartment in my collection. Interior is amazing too, really like the door accessories.
This is my second convertible/open-top.

Christmas special I
So as today is Christmas I thought it would be perfect to post my all red American classic, '63 Impala. A Santa figurine would've completed the experience but for now let's do with just his ride. Keep your eyes wide open tonight, this might be parked on your rooftop. Big Grin

Slix, nice ride Santa's got! I agree, Welly has done a good job of her, the engine looks good and the profile looks awesome!
That low rat rod looks really cool as well. Who makes that Plymouth GTX? Looks really well done in the photos!

Superb shots!!The colours are very festive.That Impala really does look like something Santa would drive.Very good detailing on this 1:24 Welly.Love that hot rod too!! Smile

That GTX, you won't believe it, is a Maisto. I got that some 4-5 years back, my 2nd 1:24 model. It looked so amazing I couldn't stop myself from getting it even though I was only into collecting bikes back then. The rat rod too is a Maisto.

The detailing is amazing. And yea, and it being an open-top makes even more sense for Santa to take a ride in this. Tongue

Thats a nice model.I completely agree with you regarding the detailing part. Even i have ordered the same one and am eagerly waiting for it to arrive.
BTW from where did you procured the Ratrod. It looks amazingly detailed and the color is also complementing it.
