For Sale: 1:24 Willy jeep 1/4 ton by Italeri

Hi Friends,

My jeep kit 1:24 Willy jeep 1/4 ton by Italeri is up for sale. This one great kit with lot of detailed parts, nice decals and easy to build. It comes in military green plastic and one can chose not to paint it.The kit includes the the top and necessary bars to mount it, which is a nice touch.

Reason for Sale: I got a similar Hasegawa kit which I am building so makes this a double, also I have another Jeep by Italeri (Fire jeep version), so selling this is the right choice. Further this will finance my jeep kits with other styles. Like the CJ3B as mensioned by Sri (aka modeller).


Price: Saw today the cheapest listing on ebay was USD 37.50 including posting and GBP 25 including posting which makes both around INR 2000 aprox.


Sale Price: The sale prices is INR 900 with free shipping within India. This makes the the price and almost half to that of available online.

Manish, does this come with user manual or tutorial how to build it. Along with the parts, do we need to get glue separately or is it just fix them together to lock.

I have an exact similar one by hasegawa, so selling this one, more over I want to add variety to my jeep collection.

Yes it comes with a assembly manual. You need a separate glue (available for 25 rupees) to lock parts in place. There are guiding pins on the parts to direct them to right position. I build my kits from the instruction manual, and is easy that way.

I can vouch for this kit. I have made it. Its very detailed. Nowdays, I find it hard to assemble these kits due to the very small parts, as reading glasses are also sometimes no use. The folly of growing old, I guess !!!
