1938 Bugatti Atlantic 57SC - Autoart
This model was gifted to me (my friend and my brother paid for it!) 2 months back, but I only got the chance to photograph it today. A beautiful and extremely rare car, one was bought by a museum recently for $30 million or thereabouts.

CMC makes an absolutely stunning version, but Autoart has also done a pretty decent job with this one. Kept side-by-side, the CMC and Autoart look like they've been made by the same factory, but the CMC would definitely come out on top on closer inspection. Would I have saved enough and gone for the CMC? - Probably. Do I regret getting this one? - Not at all! Maybe I'll get the blue one from CMC...(wishful thinking!). On to the pics:

The tiny part that ensures the doors shut (I don't use this very often, though)

Insane....Chanakya, you are lucky to have amazing brother and friend, gifting a CMC, man, awesome!! Post some more pics of the exterior. This beauty deserves more pics!!

My favorite post on SMC "I wait for the day when you go ballistic while buying models after you get your first job. I think I would be seeing KV & the Modelart guys bursting fire crackers all day." (quote Winston)

Beautiful Atlantic there, Chanakya. I have the Bburago in blue.
I like the black, makes it more of a Bugatti

Lovely craftsmanship on this one.Love the turned aluminium finish inside the engine bay.And what a beautiful car!!AutoArt nailed the stance and the shape.Wish the interiors were black. That would have made this one a perfectly accurate recreation of Ralph Lauren's car if I'm not mistaken.Still a spectacular model though.Congratulations!!

Inside every man is a little kid who wants to play.

Nice car overall Chanayav. But there is one very detail unique to this very expensive motorcar that Autoart got completely wrong. They did it well on the Veyron dashboard but messed it on this car. The engine turned effect on the firewall. For more reference, check here >>>Peter Giddings Racing <<<. Here is a pic from the site.

While it might not take away very much from the model, I would be very pissed if I had to own this model and for the price they are asking.

If you can't dazzle them with brillance, baffle them with bullshit.
