I had seen a particular episode of Top gear which I know I will never forget.
It is the Jeremy Clarkson’s take on our precious scale model replicas.
Attaching below is the whole snippet where all three of them (Jeremy Clarkson, James May and Richard Hammond) are expressing their opinions on the future real car manufacturers.

These boys have always played with 1:1s and that's the reason why they don't value scaled down models. Sad from a scale model collector's perspective, but others might find it funny!!! As per Jeremy 1:18 = 1 x 18.

Back in the mid 90s, the Top Gear title track video had morphing model cars. Back then that muppet Hammond must have been 2 feet tall and unable to reach the tv controls, Captain Slow must have never had TV and Clarkson....oh forget him...he is just paid too much money to play the dork.

I think this is an 'out-take' or whatever they're called.Very amusing take on scale-models.I also don't see why this is sad from a collector's perspective.All in good humour,guys!Don't take TopGear seriously.

1:18 is 1 divided 18 times
1x18 is 1 multiplied 18 times or 18 multiplied 1 time

Actually it's Top Gear tomfoolery at its best....as Sid said, it's all in good humour, I loved the video and the 3 jokers going bonkers Love Top Gear!!
