Citroen Xsara WRC 2004 - France Night Rally Version
1:18 - Citroen Xsara WRC 2004 France Night Rally Version from Autoart.

Sébastien Loeb, the French rally driver with co-driver Daniel Elena, won the World Rally Driver's Championship title in 2004, 2005, 2006 and 2007 and a record ten World Rallies in 2005. Loeb has the most WRC wins with 37 and is one of the most successful rallymen in history. He is also a two-time winner at the Race of Champions, after taking home the Henri Toivonen Memorial Trophy and the title "Champion of Champions" in 2003 and 2005. In 2004, he won the Nations' Cup for France with Jean Alesi.

This Autoart model is the night race version of the Citroen Xsara that Loeb and Elena drove at the Rally of France in 2004, the same year Loeb won the championship title.

Autoart did a good job on the exteriors and interiors but unfortunately made it a sealed body. Hence no engine views, however, the rally livery has been done neat. Besides its rally history, I caved in for those massive lights upfront.

Damn nice. I have always been a Loeb fan, and this is the car where my admiration for him began.

I am a sucker for rally cars with a massive lights on them, and this one is right up there with the best.
Sebastian Loeb has won a staggering 8 Rally Championships in a row now with Citeron! Its really mind boggling, his feat! Amazing model Sid, even though its sealed, the details are excellent! The new studio setup is looking very good and all your pictures have turned out really well!

Siddvi,

Awesome model. And then we all love Sebastian either Loeb or Vettel. Surprising corelation between the two. How ever the model being a sealed one is a dampner.

Thanks Guggga. The new set-up is actually nothing new, its just a black sheet but shot out in the open as opposed to the interiors before. The downside now is gotta wait for a good weather and night foto-shoots are out of question. Anyways nothing to beat natural lighting though. The details & model interiors get captured well. Still learning the ropes and your amazing shots are definitely one.

BTW, I got not much rally cars, just 2-3 in 1:18 and few others in 1:24. Would love to add more if something comes by reasonably priced.

PS: Thanks for those reps man. Xyxthumbs

Thanks Manish. Ya, pity they made it sealed. I read that it's something to do with the sports authorities not allowing the engine details out. Maybe the gurus who has more knowledge on this can enlighten. But why the doors, they could atleast make the door and boot open-able.Diablo
