1:24 Willys Jeep MB by Hasegawa Build.

Finally today had whole day to spare with no office work to bother and wife on a trip home . What better way than to start buinding the Jeep.

I am not going to paint the body, and will only color the required pieces. This will save time and color. More over a military jeep should not be gleaming (especially the ones with rifels and stuff).

The glue is showing its age, left out white traces can be seen, I am keeping that as is. Will bring new glue tomorrow.










I would love to weather the model, lets see after building I will throw in some.

Also friends, I am building the Jeep Stock. Cause I have not done any internet research and not sure on what to detail more. More over I have one more kit where I can show some skills.

I you have any ideas to improvise in this build please let me know.

Man that chassis, those NDMS tyres, those differential, those drive shafts. All the very best for the build Manish, I am pretty sure that this will come out as good as other of you kit building projects.

I am itching to do kit myself now, will pick one if come across a nice one.

Can't wait to see this one finished. I might try and get a 1/18 kit for the Jeep instead of the overpriced diecasts out there.

you remind me of small city near by where i live called Dabwali,,,well know here for jeep rebuilding...i see those chassis all over the city..

Yes the jeep thing was itching for a long time, got time today only. By the way I don't think so 1:18 kit of Jeep is available. There was one by Dragon in 1:6, which was cool too.

Yes Dabwali and Mayapuri are regarded as one of the biggest and foremost market of Jeeps and then Punjab is famous for jeeps (apart from scooters and bullets).
