![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Guys, sorry for the 4th image....have no clue how that cropped up. I had uploaded my pics on image hosting site tinypic long time back and had saved the IMG tags for sharing on SMC here. When I posted the IMG tags here, somehow the 4th one came up. Winston/Ari, would appreciate it if you can remove that particular photo's tag. My favorite post on SMC "I wait for the day when you go ballistic while buying models after you get your first job. I think I would be seeing KV & the Modelart guys bursting fire crackers all day." (quote Winston) ![]() picasaweb.google.com/karansharma8783 |

RE: 1978 Chevrolet Corvette (Autoart 1:18)
Karan, this is the awesomest Corvette ever. If there is one Corvette I regret not getting, it is this one. When Nikhil had the UT example, I thought it is exppensive for 1800 rs. When Modelart got it, I thought it is expensive at 3500 rs or so. Now I am sitting here and ogling at your model and realise what a beautiful model I let slip from these grubby fingers. Anyone gets a chance to buy this model, don't miss it.
If you can't dazzle them with brillance, baffle them with bullshit. ![]() |

Yet another beautiful work from Autoart. The photographs have also come out well. I liked the headlight part. The tires look good..
Nice one Karan! Abhiroop Chatterjee (Classic & Vintage Scale Model Collector) Flickr |

RE: 1978 Chevrolet Corvette (Autoart 1:18)
Kick-ass!!I love all Corvettes. And this is perhaps the most aggressive version of the legendary American sports car. Those muscular haunches and that menacing hump on the bonnet lend so much character to this car's design. And the cool retro lights and interior details look fantastic.Really really like those carpets too.I also happen to be a big fan of white tire-wall markings.Brilliant piece of work by AutoArt.And a great pick,Karan!!
I picked one of these up myself recently. And I'll finally get to see it and all the other new acquisitions in a couple days. Can't wait to get back!!

RE: 1978 Chevrolet Corvette (Autoart 1:18)
I have never liked corvettes to be honest and this one is the one I like the least. The only reason this car reaches out to me is that a very dear friend owns one EXACTLY like this and it is literally one min away from where I am typing this from!!

Long time, MIA, got busy?
Congrats on your buy Karan. Very nice pick, love those pop-up lights. Well detailed and very good shots. That detachable roof is cool. AutoDiecastModels.com - My Collection |

RE: 1978 Chevrolet Corvette (Autoart 1:18)
Autoart at its best. A very finely crafted legendary Corvette with very very nice details. The fat tires give it a more aggressive and muscular look, love the "Corvette" written on the carpet, the headlights are amazingly beautiful, the tail lamps are just perfect, guess the engine could have been a little better. Nevertheless its a complete package from Autoart.
And I love that swing where you take your photos, the surroundings give a very serene feel
