I wasn't a big fan of the McLaren F1. However, the bug caught me too. You can't argue against a car that held the world's fastest supercar record for 11 years before being usurped by the Veyron, CCX, SS Ultimate Aero. Even then, this is the world's fastest naturally aspirated engine - all the other cars above use forced induction in the form of Turbos.

As for the design - it still looks so contemporary. I admire the sharp angles and strakes along the doors and the whole car looks lithe, aggressive and has the grace of a feline - perhaps a Cheetah.

This model by UT is in the harder to find and darker Graphite silver shade.
A more than 10 year old mold, it was the mainstay before Autoart came along with their super detailed version. They did a great job of capturing the essence, stance and look of the car, however don't go looking for details here.

Lucky you having all the versions! I have this and the LM only.
I might add the Autoart someday in the same color as yours - its a great model.

Great display of the McLaren F1 and Stig!!! Nice shots. I still wonder why I got so late getting back to this Hobby. The UT is so well-built. Lovely photographs to complement the fastest car in the world \m/

Imageshack wasn't working for me today, so I used Photobucket - which sucks, cus Photobucket totally reduced the sharpness and clarity of these pictures.
I am uploading a few select ones via Imageshack again to see how much of a difference it makes.
