Maisto Classic Lines
Guys,

I have noted down all the 1:18 models in maisto classic line. The list is close to 26. Some of the models are on my wish list.

However I do not know which one is availble locally and which one is nicely detailed / replicated and is a good buy. Does anyone has any idea??

1955 chevy nomad

Mercedes Benz 300 SLR Coupe

1959 Cadilac Eldorado

1948 Chevy Fleetmaster woody

1939 Ford Delune Coupe

1971 Datsun 240Z

1967 Ford Mustang GTA Fastback

1968 Ford Mustang GT Cobra Jet.

1957 Chevrolet Corvette

1970 Chevrolet Nova SS Coupe

1967 Chevrolet Camaro Z/28 Coupe

1968 Chevrolet Camaro Z/28 Coupe

1967 Chevrolet Camaro SS 396 Convertible

1950 Ford

1949 Ford

1953 Studebaker Starliner

1962 Chevrolet Bel Air

1965 Chevrolet Corvette

1956 Chrysel 300B

1969 Ford Torino Talladega

1971 Chevrolet Chevelle SS 454 Sports

1965 Pontiac GTO

1971 Chevrolet Chevelle SS 454 Convertible

Porsche 550A Spider

1952 Citroen 2CV

1952 Citroen 15cv 6 cyl

PS: I forgot to add that the reason for asking is to pick up the good ones from Maisto before they vanish and command a premium over ebay.

RE: Maisto Classic Lines
I have a few of the ones mentioned above and the others I have seen pictures of.
They are all keepers I kid you not Smile Its just the new Maistos that are not so well put together, their last great car was probably the McLaren SLR - the older ones like above are a different world.
Get the ones you can find locally.

There are also the Porsche 356 #1, the VW Beetle split window, Mercedes Benz 500K cars, 300S convertible, 280SE conv., BMW 502 conv.
I highly recommend the 356 #1.

If you can't dazzle them with brillance, baffle them with bullshit.

These are the collectible models (I think) because I have seen all of them personally. Among the lot the bold ones are the best.
The Starliner, Woody, 300, Torino, 49/50 Ford are very hard to find. Others are easily available at Starmark/local toy stores.

RE: Maisto Classic Lines
I would suggest you to try your luck, maybe in Archies stores and other Supermarkets around. It's virtually impossible to find the aforementioned models from Mega Malls or Landmark or Sapphires, as it would have already been picked up by diecast maniacs like us.. hehehe....

I got lucky with a couple of Maisto Classics (1956 Chrysler 300B and 1962 Chevrolet Bel Air) when I happened to bump into an Archies store back at Chennai. Value for money stuff.....

Will do that, but keeping all will make a bigger hole in pocket.

I have 356 by signature, VW Beetle split by Maisto, 500K I do not like and I think that you are refering to older release. I picked up the list from their 2011 catalogue.

In Bangalore there are very few places that keep 1:18 models, Sapphire is one among them.

Antzster, which all stores you look into apart from Modelart, Sapphire, Landmark, sometimes Sapna Book House.
One of my friend said that BMW are selling collectibles and all in here. Need to check out where apart from BMW showrooms.

I did procure the Welly's (Miura & GT3) from Total Mall, the one near KR Puram. In fact, they still have got a couple of Wellys (RangeRover Black & Audi Softtop) and the usual Maistos. There is an exclusive Toy Store right under Indiranagar Metro Station. It's got loads and loads of Maistos and Wellys. I am still hunting for the elusive Alfa Romeo. No luck yet.
