1:24 AC Cobra by Maisto
Friends,

This was one of my first model purchased and since the detailing and quality was pathetic, I had left her uncared in my fathers garage, dirt on the model signifies that.

Got reunited recently. Now I am modding / detailing her. (already started)

Here are as is pictures

Seems ok to me for 1:24 Maisto.

Anyway what all mods are you planning, I can suggest one, change the beige shade of interior to more meaner looking black.

i think interiors are the only let down, from outside car looks brilliant.. can definitely do with a chrome exhaust coming out from the side.. all the best with mods, do keep updating..

@ravi: dust = neglect. @bandhav, aj2710, 2wheel: you guys have listed two of them. let me list all other. 1) change of wheels and tyres (done). 2) making of wheel wing nut. 3) bull bar behind drivers seat (done). 4) detailing interiors with carpet, black seats & seat belts. 5) revamp the dasboard. 6) routing exhaust out on side of the car with idvidual exhaust pipes from engine. 7) detail the engine with wiring, plumbing & paint (partly done). please let me know if you think of any other idea.

Well the wheels definitely need a change. The steering looks rock-solid and the gear stick also looks pretty ok, these two things doesn't need to be taken care of, unless you want two paint them. These are two really important aspects which enhances the presence of the interiors, I'm sure the dials etc. can be worked upon. And the amount of detailing (like the seat belts, carpet, engine-wiring) you plan to do would certainly be a challenge since the scale is smaller. You might also love to put some kind of fabric on the seat. Wish you all the best, we' all shall wait for more updates from you \m/

Yes I will paint the the steering wood color. A must. And the Gear stick black and chrome.

At present there is only sticker for them. I need to figure out what can be done.

Yes scale poses the challange, but since I have build a few of 1:24 scale models, I am aware of size, challange would be to find them Smile.

Putting a fabric is a great idea, but we may loose the details as there on the seat. let me see.

Awesome man! One of my favorite cars. Hard to believe its a Maisto, I think it will look fantastic even with just the dust wiped off. Paint looks really great.
Good luck with the mods. Am subscribing to this thread.
I've been hunting a Shelby Cobra in same scale & color by Welly but still no luck.
